Skilled Welders are in demand and State Fair Community College has created the ultimate training center located in Sedalia, Missouri.  We had the opportunity to design a major upgrade to their welding program.  Prior to this project, the school had approximately 16 workstations for welding and after our project they had over 69 welding stations.  What a great way to serve more students.  The department of labor estimates that the shortage of welders will exceed 250,000 by 2023.

The new welding facility was designed to have two separate dust collection systems.  The first dust collections system supports 40 individual weld stations, 2 pedestal grinding stations and 10 grinding tables.  This system provides 41,000 CFM air volume and comes with the Micro Air Intelli Touch VFD Control panel.  The system was designed with dual quencher spark arrestors.

The second dust collection system supports 8 weld stations and 15 pedestal grinding stations.  Like the first system this one includes the Micro Air Intelli Touch VFD Control panel and has the dual quencher spark arrestors.  This system will support 16,000 CFM in air volume.

State Fair Community College will draw students from near and far with this upgraded facility.  Another breathe easy, clean air success story.  Contact Environmental Air Technology to renovate your welding program.
