Wayne State College
Environmental Air Technology designed a Wood Dust Collection and Welding Dust Collection System for Wayne State College. The system was designed with 100% capacity and in accordance with NFPA 652, 654, 664 standards. The system utilizes a Micro Air FRP-62 Self Cleaning Cartridge Dust Collector providing 7,000 CFM with a remote mounted blower and Micro Air Intelli-touch Control Panel. Environmental Air Designed the system with EcoMAXX Spark Detection and Extinguishing Systems as well a explosion isolation damper and high speed abort gate.
Clean Air is returned to the building with no loss in temperature or humidity. Custom top mounted explosion vents were also included. Environmental Air Technology has designed Wood Dust Collection as well as Welding Systems for many universities and schools in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.
